4FinanceCalculator ("we", "our", "us") is a free, browser-based set of financial calculators. There is no account system and no server-side database — but this site does run Google AdSense advertising, which uses cookies. This policy explains, in plain language, exactly what that means and how it aligns with the GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), and LGPD (Brazil).

1. Information We Collect

• We do not require sign-up, login, or any account to use the calculators.
• We do not ask for your name, email, or financial details anywhere in the tools themselves.
• We run no analytics or tracking scripts of our own and keep no server-side database of user activity.
• If you email us through the Contact page, we receive whatever information you choose to include — sent directly and voluntarily by you.
• Our advertising and font providers may automatically receive limited technical data such as your IP address and browser type, as described in sections 3 and 4.

2. How the Calculators Handle Your Data

• Your figures are never uploaded. Every calculation — mortgage payments, tax estimates, investment projections — runs locally in your browser with JavaScript.
• We operate no server that receives, stores, or processes the amounts you enter. Because the work is local, the calculators keep working even if your connection drops after the page loads.
• We do not place your inputs in cookies or browser storage. When you close or reload the tab, the numbers are gone from memory.

3. Cookies & Advertising

We use Google AdSense to display ads, which is how this free site pays for itself. To do that, Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies. Specifically:

• Google uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
• This enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.

4. Third-Party Services

A few third parties help deliver this site. None of them ever receive the numbers you enter into the calculators.

• Google Fonts — the typefaces on this site load from Google's font servers, which means Google receives your IP address as part of that request.

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information, because we do not collect any in the first place.

5. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA / LGPD)

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Because we keep no accounts or database, most requests relate to the cookies set by Google's advertising, which you control directly through the opt-out links in section 3 and your browser's cookie settings.
